This policy explains how personal data is collected and used when you visit this website or contact three65. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it only in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2. Data we collect

We collect personal data in the following situations.

Contact enquiries

When you submit the contact form or email us, we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, work email address, organisation, role and the content of your message. Providing your name and email is necessary to respond to you; other fields are optional.

Server log data

When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information that your browser transmits, such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the pages requested and your browser type. This data is used only to deliver the site securely and reliably and is not combined with other data to identify you. These server logs are generated and retained by our hosting provider (GitLab) in line with its security and operational requirements; we do not store or process this log data separately.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data on the following legal bases under Article 6(1) GDPR:

  • To respond to your enquiry and take steps at your request before entering into any agreement: Article 6(1)(b) and our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective partners, Article 6(1)(f).
  • To operate and secure this website: our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure site, Article 6(1)(f).

4. Service providers and hosting

We use carefully selected service providers to operate this site. Where a provider processes personal data on our behalf, it does so under data processing terms in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.

  • Website hosting: this site is published as a static site via GitLab Pages, provided by GitLab Inc. GitLab processes server log data described above. See GitLab’s privacy statement.
  • Contact form delivery: submissions from the contact form are transmitted and delivered to us through Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), which processes the data you enter in order to forward it to us. See Formspree’s privacy policy.
  • Analytics: aggregated, cookieless usage statistics are collected using Plausible Analytics, provided by Plausible Insights OÜ, an EU-based provider. Plausible processes data within the European Union and does not use cookies or collect personal data. See Plausible’s data policy.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is safeguarded by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website uses only what is strictly necessary to function, together with a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service (Plausible Analytics). Plausible helps us understand aggregated site usage, such as which pages are visited and which sites refer visitors to us. It sets no cookies, does not track you across websites or devices, and does not collect or store personal data that identifies you. We store a single preference in your browser’s local storage to remember your cookie choice so we do not ask again. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, and are then deleted. Statutory retention obligations under commercial and tax law may require us to keep certain records for longer.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at nicholas@three65.ai.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest update shown above.
